The Problems

The site was very slow and had a number of JavaScript issues which caused page load speed issues. The design was incomplete and whilst it carried the colour scheme, the branding was not present. The site was not cohesive and as it was built on a bespoke CMS effecting scalability, this was something that was incredibly important for a company who acted in content writing.

The Goals

• To improve the site design page load times and deliver the experience that would would be expected of Search Engine Optimization specialist.
• The management of the site had to be more flexible and user-friendly and enable the team at SLK to make changes as and when needed.
• The mobile experience was also poor and needed to be upgraded, making more the experience more fluid and keep the site usable on all devices.

The Results

After launch the website gave the following pagespeed results with 99 to 100 best on mobile. This improved the bounce rate and the total pages viewed. The content management system was much easier and allowed the team to add content and optimize the pages.

Conclusion

The SLK redesigned and branding as transformed their presence online users found it a lot easier to use. The increased page load times and improve design and fluidity have helped the conversion rate and user retention.
